• 2 c. milk
  • 2 Alderfer Eggs, beaten
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 dash of vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg

Baking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
  2. Whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla together in a bowl until combined. Pour egg mixture into 6 custard cups; sprinkle tops with nutmeg. Place cups in a baking pan with enough hot water to reach halfway up the sides of custard cups.
  3. Bake in preheated oven until custards are set, about 1 hour. Cool completely.
